The second installment of my Character Design series is now available through Massive Black.
In this video I cover my thought process when designing hero characters for video games. I demonstrate by drawing three different hero characters with different goals in mind for each character. In addition to some basic digital painting tips, I spend a lot of time on theory so that the viewer can see where my concepts are coming from. Drawing is only half of Concept Art (the art half), so I really try to stress the concept half.
