Over the past year or so ConceptArt.org has been releasing a lot of downloadable art demos for very affordable prices.
I've had the opportunity to release 3 different demos so far and will hopefully have more available in the future.
There are also a number of different demos by my colleagues at Massive Black that I highly recommend if you have any interest in concept art or digital illustration.

Looking around for something "Painter" that was both educational and inspirational I stumbled across Jasons Painter sketch while downloading an Andrew Jones demo.
Congratulations...as a complete novice I found this to be an fantastic insight into the way a modern digital artist works and has it not only inspired me but also filled me with confidence in that I don't have to be pristine and accurate when starting a piece - neither do i need to have an idea fully formed. I loved the organic approach and found it really refreshing to see Jason working through and discounting ideas as he went along.
If Jason ever decided to do a similar tutorial on the fundemental concepts of Painter I would be the first in line to buy it!! He is an excellent educator and if anyone is wavering about purchasing this, for $15 you cannot go wrong!

Absolutely agreed. The video on the Painter sketch was ace. It's well worth the money and the time to get ahold of this one.
I downloaded Jason's Tentacle tutorial, and it was spectacular. Once you manage to pick the remains of your jaw off the floor you can learn so much: about how to start a piece, light and shadow, tones, color, working with Photoshop and just generally see an artist's process and methods. It's fantastic, educational and fascinating.
I downloaded the Dream devourer demo, and it's awesome.

I chanced upon your FFVI Tina Image on google,
and used it briefly in for 3 secs in a video of my piano performance for "Tina's theme - FFVI" on youtube.
hope you're alright with it.
